This is so bogus I don't know where to start. The funny thing about this is that there are no deals. The President isn't in charge of such things; he can only sign them once it goes through Congress.

There is no evidence that his rise in poll numbers had anything to do with Piglosi or the Democrats. It's more likely the way he handled the hurricane situations in Florida and Texas.

Trump wanted Hurricane Harvey funds...Republicans wanted to fuck around and demand a debt ceiling limit increase that would carry them past the end of the year.

Trump made a deal with Dems to get the funding...screw the politics of the debt ceiling.

He did what was best for the American people...that's what affected his poll numbers.
