Can this man possibly be any more petty? Now, it appears that Trump is pissed at Amanda Knox because he says he supported her and got her released from prison in Italy, and now he's upset that Knox voted for and supported Hillary.

But, the only thing is, he DIDN'T really do anything for Knox. All he did was tweet and post Youtube videos saying he thought she should be released. And, Knox even said that those videos and tweets that he posted actually made the Italian court a bit prejudiced against her

And, then there's the fact that in 2013, Trump was just a regular citizen. A rich one to be sure, but still just a regular citizen who had no sway in diplomatic matters.

Anyone else think that this little spat is acting presidential?

"Petty" seems such an understatement in this instance, but it rightly applies.

• Donald Trump --> POTUS
• Amanda Knox --> Some woman whose notable "accomplishment" is having been incarcerated in Italy.

Why does Trump now have a legitimate reason to now say anything about Ms. Knox? Is he hoping she'll fellate him or something? Does Trump truly not know what is, quite simply, not worth his time, and the American people's money, to mention?

(And don't tell me he's not getting paid by the American people. He is getting paid. He's elected, so far, to donate the pay he receives to third parties.)

Wrong. She was convicted once, there was an appeal, then she was cleared of all charges in the second trial, whereupon she was allowed to return to Seattle, and they tried to try her in absentia for a third trial, but it was thrown out due to inconsistencies in the testimony.

If Trump could actually be talking about something that matters, rather than some chick he did Youtube videos and tweets for that only biased the Italian courts worse against her.

Hillary was SOS at the time and was working to get her out of Italy. She got a second trial, was found not guilty and then came back to the USA. Hillary had more to do with getting her released because she was SOS, and Trump was a private citizen with little to zero effect on foreign policy.

THAT is why Knox supported Hillary. Trump needs to get over it and start governing the country.
