At 4,000 and 5000 crossings per day, additional powers would given to DHS to deal with the situation. All of new remedies don't currently exist and didn't exist under the Trump administration either. They are additional powers to help remedy issues at the border.... And nothing would stop future legislation from adding tougher provisions.

My understanding is that this latest bill was bipartisan. So perhaps it’s not as bad as your “insiders” are telling you. Guess we’d have to see itThose statements are based on inside information as to the context of some portions of the bill.
It was already revealed in past discussions, Biden crowing about providing more funding for border security was actually for more BP agents to process more illegals in a timely manner and to facilitate transportation to the interior.....not to slow or stop the mess.
That is the crux of this whole fiasco.
What do you expect the right to do when Mayorkas and others go to the border and make statements as Biden's immigration plan is working or the border isn't open?
