Special Elections in Virginia/New Jersey have new Democrat governors. The Virginia state house just went Democrat for the first time in 25 years, and 11 out of the 15 seats there were taken by women. Doug Jones won in Albama, and Michael Wolff's book "Fire & Fury" is still the number one best selling book in this nation, when most people ignore Presidential tell--all books. Evangelicals are typically single issue voters. Or I should say 2 issue voters now--Gay Marriage & Abortion. They're preached that via FOX NEWS and through their church congregations, and most pay little interest to deficits, taxes, spending, health care, or anything to do with politics--or government related issues.

That's why the first question in any Presidential debate will be about abortion. They think that by electing politicians that they'll be able to overturn Roe V Wade and Gay marriage. And right wing politicians play paddy feet with them on these issues. Promising them bills, sonograms and other requirements that are ALWAYS overturned immediately by Federal District court judges. They don't understand that it was a right leaning U.S. Supreme court that gave us Roe v Wade, and it's been considered a right leaning court ever since.

Trump promised a Supreme Court nominee that would overturn Roe v Wade. They got Niel Gorsuch who stated that Roe v Wade is precedent in the U.S. Constitution, meaning set in stone.
