Trump easily wins debate. Should skip rest of debates

I think the best line was when Rubio told the exact truth about the media being a super pack of the Democrst party. Looks like the public is catching on to the game the media is playing elevating and destroying whoever they want, with no consequence.

This is the typical sort of thing you see, usually from the right too. Always blaming others for things.

The media is apparently just working for the Democrat Party. Er... but part of that media is Fox News, clearly not working for the Democrat Party.
Also, you have to live with the media. If the candidates are so good, as has been said, then they shouldn't have much problem with the media. Then again Trump went and pissed Murdoch off, why do you think Murdoch, clearly not working for the Democrat Party, is going to be nice to Trump. Trump made a dumb mistake. Part of being the present is having the media pounding on you day in day out. If the media were so Democrat, then why has Obama had a hard time from various parts of the media for a long time, going on eight years now?

It's just a boohoo story. It's so easy to claim this sort of thing. The same thing happened with UKIP in the UK. Every week there was a boohoo story, why the press was out to get them, the thing was, the press LOVED THEM, just as the press LOVES Trump.

You're kidding right? The entire academic community and news media in the US are a bunch of radical leftists acting as the propaganda arm of the Democrat party, out to produce even more radical leftists like themselves by brainwashing the public. Fox is the only thing that's standing in their way.

There is no objective news any longer. All the news anchors, journalists and commentators today are political activists who are graduates of extremely liberal leftist colleges that make their way into the media industry.

If trump was really winning the debates, why would he need to flee from his opponents?

Trump should create his tv show at the time of the next debate and see which gets more viewers.

Because this isn't about politics, it's about entertainment.

Meaningless idiot drivel.

:eusa_drool:duh, GOP version of Apprentice pretty bad, duh:eusa_drool:

It amazes me that libturds believe Republicans actually care about their imbecile opinions of the debates and their candidates.

Does not matter if you care or not. The fact remains you looked and read it!

I just stole precious seconds from your life and, you are not getting it back!!

Those seconds add up--and eventually, they will equal minutes, then hours , then days all spent on left wing drivel!

This is just another way on how socialism is eating you alive!:FIREdevil:

And some people say the left are not mentally disturbed. :eusa_eh:

reading about all the different winners from the board pundits, apparently there was no winner, just personal opinions about favorites.

but it was all the mods fault for asking hard questions ..

BBBBAAAAAWWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Vote: Who won the Republican presidential debate?

**DRUDGE POLL** WHO WON THE 3RD REPUBLICAN DEBATE '16?

CNBC has him at 50% Drudge at 63%

These are no longer debates but media firing squads. Time for Trump to say he will no longer participate.
'Blame the media' might work among some republicans, but not a majority of Americans.

The problem for republicans is their failed, wrongheaded agenda, not 'the media.'
all one has to do is look at Brownback's state. Its an textbook example of conservative policies being implemented AKA  an unmitigated disaster sarahgop

Trump's numbers have dropped to 50% at Drudge. You can still vote over and over and over again for him if you want to lift his numbers, or against him if you want to lower them.

No reason at all to skip any upcoming debates unless there's some standoff over procedures or something like that.

Trump and the others should just continue to deal with the moderators as they did last night. If the question's a stupid one turn it right around on them, ask for the next one, or anything else. Just don't let them rope you into playing their game.

Can't wait for the next one.

Purpose of the debates is to learn about the candidates, including how they react to pressure. The Republicans all seem to be whiners and complainers. The media is mean, whaaaa. Wonder how that will work if they have to debate the Russians, Chinese and world leaders.

but I'm The Donald, you're just poor.

Ted Cruz started the ball rolling and it was refreshing to witness Republicans coming together and bitch slapping those moderators. What a ridiculous biased display by the CNBC mods.

Awesomeness of awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Let me say something at the outset: The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media," Cruz said.

He continued: "This is not a cage match. And you look at the questions: 'Donald Trump, are you a comic-book villain? Ben Carson, can you do math? John Kasich, will you insult two people over here? Marco Rubio, why don't you resign? Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?' How about talking about the substantive issues."

The audience roared in approval.

I love it.

Ted Cruz's CNBC debate line - Business Insider

Although the debate didn't have any clear winners, the night clearly belonged to the candidates and the republican party as a whole. They finally exposed what the public has been saying for a long time, that the media is a propaganda arm of the Democrat party. And the moderators kept asking questions and responding in ways that only cemented their bias.

The front runners Trump and Carson played it safe in order to preserve their status, which was the right strategy. However, once Trump as he stated in his closing, starts spending $$$ on ads like the other are, he will dominate like never before. I think Cruz and Rubio did the best, and Bush and Rand Paul were the losers. If Trump becomes the nominee, I think Cruz, Rubio, or Carson may be his VP choices, and if he becomes president, many on that stage will serve in his administration in one capacity or another.

exactly ...

mean ol media, they were bias ... poor simpleton RW's.

Clinton handled 11 hours of debate with Congress as her mods, and never blinked an eye keeping her cool ... the GOP Candidates fell apart in less than 30 minutes at the feet of MSM.

end of story.

No, not kidding. Are YOU kidding? You're talking complete nonsense.

You even contradict yourself. If "The entire.... news media in the US are a bunch of radical leftists" then how come Fox News can stand in their way?

The reality, if you decided to look at it, is there are quite a lot of right wing reporters out there.

The problem for you is that many reporters are people with BRAINS. And people who use their brains often THINK. And people who think are far less likely to be further to the right than center right.

"There is no objective news any longer" Was there ever objective news? Newspapers are often controlled by people who have an agenda and the reporters are controlled by the newspapers.

The problem is, I don't think you understand how they control people like you. You can look all over this board and see people who have been totally controlled by one part of the media or the other.
Your "the media is totally controlled by leftists" sounds like just that sort of thing.

And again, all news anchors are this or that or the other. PROVE IT. You're just writing stuff, nothing to back yourself up with. Also, I doubt you ever will back yourself up. Backing yourself up might require that you FACE THE TRUTH.

The truth is undeniable. FOX news is the only outlet that isn't part of the left wing media machine. Like I said, the left has a pretty good set up, they control academia and the media and pretend to be objective. No such thing as objectivity in the media and especially academia. In most universities, no student dares espouse a conservative view without fear of being ostracized and / or victimized for their views. So many of them just pretend because they know better.

If you think otherwise then you aren't living in the real world.

What matters is that the appropriate response was given by the candidates to the inflammatory tone of some of the questions and that seemed to quell the moderators and bring them back to earth.
It was so cool seeing all the candidates doing a Trump/Christie.

The ONLY outlet. Are you sure about that? Or is this unfounded nonsense again?

Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News, also happens to own lots of other media outlets. I'd find it difficult to imagine him having Fox news being right wing and then other left wing media outlets.

The Wall Street Journal, for example, is owned by Murdoch.

Pitching Softballs

"Despite the frequent complaints of “liberal bias,” studies of presidential news coverage — including Mark Hertsgaard’s On Bended Knee: The Press and the Reagan Presidency and Robert Entman’s Democracy Without Citizens— suggest that the last two Democratic presidents received tougher media scrutiny that the last two Republicans."

"Have Washington reporters perhaps been intimidated by the GOP’s incessant charges of liberal bias?"

And this is what it's all about. Keep bleating on about a liberal media bias, that doesn't really exist, and you get an easier time for yourself. It helps deflect anything that comes up in "the liberal media".

You have to wonder why, with all the money the right wing have, I mean they have BILLION and BILLIONS of dollars, why they don't make any more media outlets that just (supposedly) Fox News. Why is Murdoch the ONLY (supposedly) right wing media owner? The answer is he isn't. However facts and the truth aren't really important here, are they? It's all about perception, and a lot of people are being brainwashed into thinking stuff simply because stuff is being repeated over and over and over again and they don't have a brain in order to counter this repetition.

This strategy has been acknowledged:

"In 1992, Republican National Chair Rich Bond acknowledged that intimidation is indeed a goal of media-bashing from the right: “There is some strategy to it,” Bond told journalists at the Republic national convention in Houston. “I’m a coach of kid’s basketball and Little League teams. If you watch any great coach, what they try to do is ‘work the refs’ [meaning the media]. Maybe the ref will cut you a little slack next time.”"
