If that happens and the documents are deemed to be declassified, THEN they can be removed, stored, disseminated. Even then, depending on the information and the classification of the document, that written request may be denied. There is no evidence Trump took any steps to do this. Let's set aside the fact that a normal President would take the country's national security into account before he removed such documents. But we know Trump is corrupt.

He took those documents to trade for or to sell for political favors in the future.
