This will put Obama on the spot and back him into a corner. What a smart move by Chuck Grassley. A “Privilege Log” details what hidden Fast & Furious documents Obama is exercising his power over, and what his legal argument for doing so is, and the White House is legally required to produce a privilege. If Obama doesn't produce then this will lead to far worse inplications.

Yep executive privilege sure didn't work for Nixon when he tried it. Executive privilege is for Presidents--and not to be used as a cover-up or to protect someone other than the President. IOW--Eric Holder is excluded from executive privilege.

You would be correct. Looks like Obama's White House council overplayed their hand.

Grassley is pissed off. Wow. Really strong language. At the same time, you have Rep Forbes from Virginia saying straight out that either Holder or Axelrod are lying about meetings.

    Holy toledo!

Virginia Republican Rep. Randy Forbes told The Daily Caller that he thinks either Attorney General Eric Holder or President Barack Obama’s chief re-election campaign strategist, David Axelrod, is lying about private political meetings they allegedly had together.

I was saying this earlier. The documents subpoenaed, must be answered by the executive branch, one-by-one, regarding executive privilege.

The Obama administration's "backroom attack on the Second Amendment" that is Fast & Furious, that ended up getting Brian Terry killed... Nice work, Libtards.

Also, if the House votes contempt, a civil suit can be filed in DC Federal Court, asked to expedite, and a court order issued to produce the documents and I can’t wait to see this privilege log

Interested as well. The very idea that executive privilege is being used in this manner for something that has nothing to do with the original intent is revolting. All this from the administration that promised to be 'transparent.'

Oh goodie, wingnuts are excited. Hell, Grassley is too senile to find his ass with both hands. Obama is waaaaaaaay too smart for those old men.
