State of Disgust!
I just wanted to bring attention to the tireless work of the Salvation Army. First of all, I would like to mention the fact that the CEOs of the Salvation Army make considerably less than the CEOs of other major charities.

It was founded by a Methodist minister named William Booth in London, England in 1865. It's considered a Christian church but is, in essence, an active charity that serves millions of needy folks each year.

The Salvation Army is a Christian denominational church and international charitable organization structured in a quasi-military fashion. The organization reports worldwide membership of over 1.5 million,[1] consisting of soldiers, officers and adherents known as Salvationists. Its founders Catherine and William Booth sought to bring salvation to the poor, destitute and hungry by meeting both their "physical and spiritual needs". It has a presence in 126 countries,[2] running charity shops, operating shelters for the homeless, and providing disaster relief and humanitarian aid to developing countries.

In recent years, the Salvation Army has taken negative hits from the LGBT community. The Salvation Army responded with this statement:

Debunking the Myth of LGBT Discrimination

For years, Facebook posts, forwarded emails and rumors have been leading some people to believe that The Salvation Army does not serve members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. These accusations simply aren't true.

Since its founding nearly 150 years ago, The Salvation Army has lived out its mission: To meet human needs in His name, without discrimination. People who come to the Army for assistance will be served according to their need and our capacity to help - regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

Some Internet postings originate in remarks made in a radio interview by Australian Major Andrew Craibe reported by the Truth Wins Out organization. It is emphatically noted that Major Craibe's comments do not reflect the views, policies, beliefs, or teachings of The Salvation Army anywhere in the world at any time in history.

We acknowledge that because of our size and scope, occasionally one of our millions of employees and volunteers might say or do something that does not reflect our values. We address these incidents as soon as they arise.

The Salvation Army believes that all people are equal, regardless of sexual orientation or any other factor, including race, gender and ethnicity.
The Salvation Army - Debunking the Myth of LGBT Discrimination

That doesn't mean that the Salvation Army is supportive of that lifestyle any more than it supports alcoholism, drug addiction, atheism, child neglect, or any other non-biblical lifestyle. It simply means that they (the Salvation Army) has a right to believe the Christian Gospel while serving folks in need (including members of the LGBT community).

Jesus Christ's two great Commandments:

Matthew 22:37b-39
, "... Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

The Salvation Army lives the above passage.
