I spent a year in Iraq, based at LSA anaconda. Let me tell you this, our roads, bridges, schools, and infrastructure of our own country our falling apart. We assisted in building schools in iraq, repairing their roads bridges, directing traffic, picking up rubbish from homes and streets, and developing a government for Iraqis while our own gov't is falling apart. How can we liberate iraq when we our so unstable at home? I have a problem with our governemnt using us to develop their communities, while in my neighboorhood our streets look terrible, and I am told to tighten my belt, while Iraqi economy is doing well. Give me a fucking break why not spend money to have our forces assist in infrastructure at home, I would be happy to assist in building community centers and schools, to help our own. It is funny when you adjust tax rates 3% you are called a socialist. yet it is patriotic to spill over 10 billion a month to better the lives of people who cant stand us. I have personally seen iraqi workers on our base go home at night, and launch mortar attacks after telling me earlier in the day "we love USA" I was a jdoc operator and observed the true charachters of the people we are trying to help.

I honor your service and respect your opinion. I hope we are able to get the hell out of Iraqi as soon as possible while leaving Iraqi as a stable Democracy that will hopefully be a strong ally of the US in the Middle East. Again, thank you for your service.

yes paperbutt, let's continue to spend money on making a theocracy a stable democracy in Iraq and ignoring our own problems at home.

Take the money we are spending there and use it to rebuild this country. I am an American, paperboy, not an Iraqi. I pay my taxes to help this country not one with a frigging billion dollar oil surplus.

Your NeoCon dreams of the New American Empire are stupid, empty, poorly planned and have ripped this country apart.

Let's get our own people taken care of before we decide to spread democracy abroad whether they want it or not.

So you suggest we simply pack up and leave?

How about all the money we spread around the world other than in Iraqi? Do we also cut off all other aid?

I was most offended when I saw college dropout Sean Hannity try and lecture Gen.Wesley Clark. To see a right wing pundit who never spent a day in combat talk down to a true hero and real soldier was sickening. that plump commenetator try to argue military strategy with a 4 star general should have been the end of his career.

Did you have the same outrage when you heard this:
