Todays Great Question:How Will News Commentators Explain The Gianforte "Unexpected Landslide" ??

:2up: What happened with this special election is pretty much a reflection of the Trump Landslide. The guy is a jerk, he's too dumb, he's a racist, he hates women, etc. etc. etc.
Therefore he will lose in a massive landslide !!!
:oops-28:
And now we wait for the likes of Chrissy Vibrating Lower Body Parts and Rachael Maddcow try to explain this one.
What will the clowns at MSNBC and CNN say?
"Well, ahh, if all the voters had a chance to change switch their votes, Gainforte would of lost in a 20 point landslide" :tongue-44:
or, "Well what happened in this election could of been a reflection of the general population of Montana where at least 70% of the residents believe in settling minor disputes in violence and to some extent, choking and body slamming the person you are arguing with" :slap:

70% of the votes were already in..but enjoy your fantasy

.
In our state, you can change your mail-in vote. A lot of people here did after the Hillary Announcement just before Nov 8.

Interesting, I guess that you can do a walk in and change right? But it was already 12:00 or later wasn't it.. Can you still change it..?
I don't know if you can change it on voting day.

like i said leftards claim by losing it is a big win for the democrats

thank you for verifying my position

Trump won 56% there. This guy barley broke 50. You might think that's good news but the GOP doesn't.
So you are saying the Democrats are heartened by this loss?
Yes, it's a good sign the margin was as tight as it was. That's how it works in politics, you watch the trends. Trending up - good, down - bad. And this was up.

---------------------------------- good thing and the main thing is that Gianforte won and you dems , libs lost . Now all the libs are saying on tv is that there is never a good reason for violence Eaglewings !!

you dont understand

the dems won by losing

Given that the National Rifle Association endorsed Greg Gianforte, the small margin of victory for Republicans is an indication that the NRA will not be calling the shots in national elections to come.

more winning by losing

50-44, in Montana? That should have been 80-20.
maybe most people in Montana watch WWE Wrestling?
So you are saying people in Montana are stupid?

That's the problem with that party, they turn on each other. Republicans have taught their minions to be mean and vicious people who follow a con artist even knowing he's a Russian Poodle and a con artist. Instead of seeing those as bad things, they see a role model for their children.

There is no trend. Midterm elections and special elections tend to be retail, that is, voters vote on local issues rather than national issues in non presidential years. The Democrats have been hoping to nationalize these elections by focusing on Obama's political witch hunt, but voters don't seem to be paying attention.

For the purpose of predicting the outcome of other elections for seats that are not safe Republican ones such as this Montana one you don’t just want to know who wins or loses — you want to know the margin. The former GOP is in trouble.

Only someone with their head in the clouds would tie his winning margin to the NRA rather than the incident that happened right before the election.

Just how stupid can someone be?

Local is how you win. And the GOP won but not by nearly as much as they should have with MAGA at work. MAGA ain't workin'.

In presidential years the local elections are greatly influenced by the top of the ticket, but in other years local issues have greater significance, so it makes no sense to compare the two.

Freedom of the press is a cornerstone of American democracy and a constitutional right.

What it shows is that the people of Montana and their Congressional representative are against the U.S. Constitution.

When Gianforte takes his oath of office and swears that he will "Uphold the Constitution", he will be lying through his teeth.

I hope that the trial judge throws the book at him.

He has no business being a Congress person!
