My guess is that the lib journalist writing this grew up when Woods was winning and thats where his knowledge and opinion begins and ends

Every generation was produced at least one golfing great which is all Woods is, one of the best

Woods was the greatest. No question about it. He did more than anyone else against competitors who were better than any previous generation of golfers.

Those who know golf know that one "statistic" seals the deal. In more than fifty tournaments when he was in the lead on Sunday morning, he only failed to win the tournament one time. Un. Fucking. Believable. Case closed.
