Here's an example: "She opened the door and her heart to the homeless boy."

As you can see, the verb "opened" is being used in two different senses.

Another example that I just read this morning:

"In the December 1942 wedding photograph my father was wearing a cheeky smile and a British army uniform."

So in other words, it can be defined as having a marvelous economy with words.
