Thunder strike kills three teenagers

Yesterday was a very sad day for residents of Ijale Ijaka Street in Ijoun, Ayetoro area in Yewa South local government area of Ogun state where thunder struck and killed three teenagers.



The unfortunate incident, which took place during a heavy rainfall reportedly killed Sunday Mulero,13, Dare Olaifa,15 and Sodiq Segun, 15.

Unfortunate, but technically it is the lightning, not the thunder, that killed them. Thunder is just noise.

I was waiting for some sort of punch line or is it just a bad translation that says THUNDER struck these poor kids?
