This Sends Precisely The Correct Message To Children

"Gun enthusiasts are rallying behind the store’s owners, pointing out that the store has the right to be there and poses no threat to the community."

Of course guns pose a threat to the community.

Very convenient though. The parents can shop for gifts before picking up the kids from school.

Cars pose a threat, as do lawn mowers, curbs, and that poodle that keeps getting underfoot when you walk by its yard.

Ban Poodles!!!!

Someone dropped a bomb analogy in a gun debate I've been having elsewhere. It involved suing auto manufacturers and auto sales companies for any accidents or deaths occurring from DUI's.

Except those raised for commercial value by Southeast Asian food restaurants.

poodles don't have enough meat on them.

I think a case could be made to sue Dodge for accidents caused by high-speed driving in the new Hellcat's. It is "negligent" and inherently dangerous for a manufacturer to sell such a car - which implicitly encourages high-speed driving - in a country where the prevailing speed limit is 55mph.

So we should ban any vehicle that goes over 55mph (or well say 65 cause a lot of freeways are 65 yea? I know the highways up here are.)

The right message to our children is to behave, do well in school and be successful. Owning a gun isn't one of them.

There are many messages to be given.

One is to teach them of their inalienable rights so they grow up prepared to defend them against all enemies.
