Theresa May is more of a threat to democracy than Putin is

If Brexit doesn’t happen, if the largest democratic vote in British history is thwarted, then we will face something far worse than food shortages. We’ll face a historic crisis of democracy in which ordinary people will utterly lose faith in politics

Yes, Teresa May has been lying to Brits and is a threat to British democracy.

Putin is a great president and he is only a threat to World Elites and Deep State which we all have to welcome.

It is true that Mrs. May has supported the Brexit decision by 17.4 million people, the largest vote for anything or anyone in British history, as the rope supports the hanging man. And she hopes to see it dangle to death.
It is true that her elaborately constructed 'Chequers Agreement' (Chequers is the Country House of British prime ministers) would have left Britain a Vassal State of the European Union, a rule taker forever, from a sclerotic neo-liberal protectionist bankers ramp which has impoverished half of Europe and enraged maybe most of the other half.
The UK govt is falling apart: But as PM May sinks, she still calls out 'look over there' at Russia

I thought I had read all possible Idiocy. I was wrong.

I said the same. It will open the eyes of Americans into just what allies think of liberty. I heard former PM Blair basically suggest they should re-do Brexit so that "people vote with more information about what is at stake".

They want to keep conducting a vote until they get a different result. Yet, these socialist fools are protesting in the streets about Trump?

Clueless, lemmings. As I've said, America better wake up, this isn't your grandpas world of Western Democracies...this concerted effort is designed to impact America as well.

I agree that the Brit P.M. babe needs to go along with the will of the majority or risk anarchy but when you consider that the #1 name for newborn males in London is "Mohammed" it adds a new dimension to the argument. As for food shortages, what the hell does G.B produce that anybody needs except fish & chips and maybe scotch whiskey?

a question for Theresa May: at what point was it decided that Brexit means remain?

most conservative leaders want to be Winston Churchill.

most Tory Eurosceptics want May to be like Thatcher, whose best known sentence on European migration was "no no no".

but May wants to be like Macmillan, a common-sense healer of divisions and manager of the nation's interest

There is no longer any appetite for brexit apart from amongst the lunatic fringes.
The quandry now is how to extricate ourselves from this mess.
Another referendum is needed to vote on the deal/no deal that may has tacked together.
That is the democratic solution and if we still vote to leave so be it.

Theresa May is an excellent politician. Her problem is that every form of Brexit will cost GB a lot. She is only able to minimize the damages for the United Kingdom. And the hardliners - for example 1000% Brits with a forename like "Boris" - try to maximize the problems for England by cementing GB into a situation of incapacity.

God bless you Theresa May - and god bless also all Irish of the whole Irish island. Borders are stupid.
