A Large fragment of a Man's life deals with one rather
unavoidable and oblique circumstance.
As Rod Sterling { Twilight Zone } portrayed or personifed in his
very first TW Series entitled ... :
- The Lonely - { 1959 } Starring strong,everyman actor { Jack Warden }
It's a simple moving account of a convict { Unjustly stationed as
punishment on an asteroid } by himself.Getting visits a few times
a year by a ship for supplies.
One such visit brings him a large container.Inside is a
virtual Lifelike Robot { Robe-it } in the form of a lovely,
beautiful woman.Who in time { just weeks } takes on a
relationship no different than True love.
However ... the Ship returns within less than a year of when
the Robot was dropped off.This time it's good news for Corry
{ Jack Warden },He's informed that his pardon has been granted.
However he has only 20 minutes to gather his belongings.
He is allotted only 15 pounds to take with him.He's estatic.
The clothes on his back,his shoes and a ledger.
Forgetting that his new love { Robot named Alicia } cannot
make the trip.She is way more than 15 lbs.
Such is life.No where is it written that Life is Fair.
No matter on Christmas eve or udderwise.

that was a great episode of twilight zone. one of many. "to serve man" is my favorite, but the one where billy mummy plays young trump is classic.

in a segment.John Landis oversaw the Movie Direction.
Vic Morrow lost his life in his episode.Helicopter used in the
movie went down just before a Beach landing and Morrow got
caught in the surf.Decapitated.
Morrow - Combat - TV Series star was kind of a prick.His TW episode
he played a bigot with a hot temper.His daughter,who he was
estranged from { by all accounts due to his rotten personality }
was the talented actress Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Bill Mumy { "It's a Good Life " } never really materialized as
any consequential actor.He did however attend most if not all
Twilight Zone affairs { Reunions }.
He's 2 years younger than I.

I forgot about - Lost in Space - and I even have the complete series.
It's not as good as when I watched as a teen.
Now Hunnicutt is a veritable treasure as an actor.I read where he's
never appeared on screen w/o his Beard.
I lucked onto another great series ... A couple years ago I had a chance
to order one season of - The Outer Limits - { 1963-65 }
Somehow the day I placed an order { @ Barnes & Noble }
there was another person who ordered the same hour.
I never got a copy.The Series was no longer available.
Stephen King said a few times that his favorite TV series was
- The Outer Limits -. Turned out late las year I got the First season
at Barnes and Noble and it was kinda hidden among many TV series.
It was kinda pricey but I had to have it.Then sometime this spring
there was a copy of the 2nd season.It was a shortened from the first
season.There was a nice episode starring Eddie Albert { Green Acres }
and June Havoc and also Arthur Hunnicutt.It was well worth watching.
Very original and great setting { Some desolate Desert }.
