We got our Wagyu order from the Wifes boss and it looks damn good!!!
Cant wait to smoke the Brisket!!
And that Flat Iron steak!!
Turned out we got a hell of a deal! They'd planned on charging 30% less than 44 Farms to start but we caught it before they changed the pricing.

So, if you had waited, you would have got it for 30% less? How is that a good deal?
 
Must be American or Australian Waygu. The Japanese stuff is hideously expensive.

It comes with a certification with the Cows name on it and it's bloodline.
And yes it's from the American Wagyu Association.
Here's a short list of the names.

And a bunch of other hard to read names.

I've had plenty of A5 Wagyu from Japan and yes it's expensive as hell. As in $300 bucks for a small 8 oz steak.
To be honest I prefer Australian and American Wagyu.
The A5 from Japan is to rich!!! I cant eat more than 4oz. of the stuff.
With the American and Australian Wagyu I can eat a 10oz steak without issue.
I kinda look at A5 Wagyu like Cheesecake,it's so rich ya cant eat much.
I will say everyone should try it at least once.
 
Ya know, that NY Strip roast I bought, didn't look like teh samples and may not be marbled so much. :(

How that goes it to be determined. The samples looked good, but I think what I got did NOT have that marbling.

I'll be mad and be lettin' 'em know.

N00bs might would say "Oh! You got lean steak, what's your problem?"

Oh I got a helluva problem with that.

I just bought a NY Strip roast. It may be from Columbia, but the shape is right and it probably doesn't have a Covid vaccine or steroids and hormones added. It's just beef.
 
You cannot beat cooked plants . I give mine names and repeat Moo as I cook . It was the methane that changed me . All that stink which I first thought was my husband. But it made great grounds for divorce .He wanted reconciliation and changed his name to Angus .
