Wrong. He bombed civilian targets indiscriminately against Poland during their invasion in 1939. And the British did not start their bombing of civilian targets in the Ruhr until after the 1940 German bombing of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. That was also after the multiple bombings in Poland.

He did invade country after country, and then wanted to “make peace” with the British Empire after concurring most of continental Europe because he knew the Royal Navy could potentially starve Germany like they did in WWI.

Plus there’s the little matter of him constructing camps to send Jews to so they could be shot to death, gassed to death or forced to line up and jump into pits of fire because ammo and gas was too expensive.

He bombed Warsaw at the very beginning of the war. He didn’t want to bomb BRITISH cities because he didn’t want to harden their support of the war. For over a year he thought he could entice the British into a negotiated peace that would be favorable to Germany. He knew that the aerial bombing of British cities by Zepplins in WWI hardened the civilian support for the war.
