Greetings and hello, my name is RevRabbiJCG, but you can call me Rev for short.
I'm a Conservative Republican who believes in what the Founders wanted in a government. It's obvious that ever since Pres. Barack H. Obama has been sworn in as President that out government has gone off the deep end. He is unfit to lead and neither is 50% of the current seated Senate and House.

Welcome, Rev.

Say, me 'n' the boys are havin' a friendly, table stakes poker game next weekend. We'd like to have you join us. I like the way you show yo hand befo the game begins.:clap2:

Sorry I do not gamble. The only poker partner I even had was my grandpa and we played for the fun of it. :eusa_angel:

Welcome.

Thanks to the Republicans, America now has Obama, Pelosi and Reid running this country.

I as a Repubican didn't vote for Obummer, you might want to check with the millions of voters who voted for him on the sole concept that he was a nice speaker. Hitler spoke smoothly and look where Germany landed. I didn't trust him then, even when he was running for the US Senate back in 2006. I don't trust him now. He's a criminal and since no one knows for sure where he was born, and he isn't telling He's also a socialist and a habitual liar.

I don't either. I've been taught to lose. When my dad would have parties for the men at Christmas, he'd send me to the bank to get a thousand dollars worth or quarters (yes, that would be a hundred rolls) and come back to lose all on the poker table in quarter-anti games.

I would have been surprised if you had said you voted for Obama. My point is that if Bush and the Republicans hadn't screwed up so bad, America would have Obama, Pelosi and Reid running our country. They used to be our last line of defense against these marxist wackos.

Well, anyhoo, what's going on in your part of the world, and or neck of the woods? Not much going on over here.

He didn't muddle it. He sometimes speaks in unknown tongues. :)

But welcome to USMB. Be sure to check in at the USMB Coffee Shop when you get time and get to know the gang. You can't talk politics there but there are lots of lots of subjects that aren't banned. :)

I wonder if these groups that advocate "Separation between Church and State" is a lie perpetuated by an erroneous US Supreme Court decision in 1963 [Engel v. Vitale]. According to the 1st Amendment it is illegal for the government to "abridge", or "prohibit the free exercise thereof" the freedom of religion, which is; the first guaranteed freedom mentioned in the U.S. Bill of Rights [1st Amendment].
We should keep in mind that our form of government (Republic) is made up of "three" branches. And they are, legislative (House and Senate), executive (President and Vice President) and the judicial (US Supreme Court and the lower courts). All, of which; have their own distinct powers and assigned duties. None of them have the right, implied or otherwise to have more power over the other. Our Founding Fathers put in place a system of checks and balances so neither can commit ethical breaches over by doing things that weren't given by them since the creation and birth of this nation.

Our nation and it's laws were created and drawn from the Holy Bible. Our basic foundation of government comes from a morally sound Christian prospective. If you have ever read the US Constitution there are several references of and to God. Our Founders may have not attended the same church, but they agreed that "Freedom of Religion" was an essential freedom for all men. They also, believed in personal responcibility coupled with personal accountibility. There was also no such thing as "entitlement mentality" , nor "moral relativism" with them. That to them; those things were a foreign concept.
