As far as issues facing the nation...those same Massachusetts voters regularly send liberal Democrats to Washington to represent them THERE...they just recognize that they need someone competent to balance a budget and make the trains run on time back home!

If you really examine what Massachusetts voters do, Bripat...it's a riot! They send ultra liberals like Ted Kennedy and Elizabeth Warren to Washington so they can force liberal policies on the rest of the country...but then they elect Republicans to be Governors of Massachusetts on a regular basis to get the State back in fiscal shape again!
