Lottery officials have said no ticket has matched all six Powerball numbers. That means the record $949.8m jackpot is expected to soar to $1.3bn for Wednesday’s drawing, which would make it the first time in US history that a lottery has broken the $1bn mark.
The odds to win were one in 292.2m, and the numbers drawn were 32-16-19-57-34 and Powerball number 13.
