Indictments for crimes against the country should be sufficient.
Agreed.…consistent with the original intent of the Framers of the 14th Amendment – to prevent treasonous insurrectionists such as Trump from holding public office which they forfeited the consequence of their act or acts of treasonous insurrection.
Arguing that Trump is disqualified from holding public office isn’t to ‘attack democracy,’ that’s a lie; arguing that Trump is disqualified from holding public office is to defend democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law.
Trump isn't the government. Dufus. You creatures never really think things through. Funny little twats.Himself.
DERP!!
This is what they do. They dream up the agenda, then dream up something (usually the 14th Amendment) to justify it.The crimes mentioned in the 14th Amendment are insurrection and rebellion. Not only has Trump not been convicted of either crime, he wasn't even indicted for either one. And the idea that anyone can just be accused of a 'crime against the country' can be summarily denied the opportunity to run for president is ridiculous. That's all an indictment is, nothing more than an accusation, and it is a sad day for our justice system when people believe that's all it takes to deny someone their right to run for office based on an accusation with a trial or due process.
In this country, courts decide guilt and innocence and it appears that is exactly what happened in CO. Several strict-Constitutionalist lawyers have already written opinions that, if we do follow the Constitution, as many on the Right demand, Trump must be removed from the ballot. I think the Right has shown they are Constitutionalists only when they want to be.the left constantly claims that republicans and Trump supporters are attacking democracy and are a threat to said democracy .. but in reality its leaders of the left that are attacking democracy and posing said threat to democracy by removing the leading candidate representing the opposing political party from ballots[ Main, Colorado] and attempting to remove him from ballots on several other states on the basis that he participated in an insurrection .. the left is trying to take away the rights of voters to chose who they a represented by ! that is the definition of an attack and a threat to democracy ! [and yes i know the US is a Constitutional republic ] .... so leftists answer this question .. how can Trump be kicked off ballots for participating in an insurrection when no one has even been charged with insurrection much less convicted of insurrection ? dems need to stop attacking and being a threat to democracy !
He wants to be.Trump isn't the government. Dufus. You creatures never really think things through. Funny little twats.

so red and purple states can keep Briben off the ballot reasoning he is unfit because of the border crisis .…consistent with the original intent of the Framers of the 14th Amendment – to prevent treasonous insurrectionists such as Trump from holding public office which they forfeited the consequence of their act or acts of treasonous insurrection.
