When Ronald Reagan took office, the working class owned 5% of the wealth of the nation, and the economic plate was well balanced between the workers, the shareholders and the executives. Poverty in the nation was at record low levels. But the Reagan tax code changed everything.

Now you have high levels of poverty, especially among the elderly, and the low wage working class. There are low wage American workers who will NEVER be able to retire in their lives.

Please stop trying to sell us on the idea of how great things were under Donald Trump, because they were not. Things were BETTER under Obama. Illegal immigration was the lowest in 50 years. Obama started the longest period of sustained growth in US History. Wages were rising. The trade deficit was GOING DOWN.

By every economic measure there is in the world, the Trump economy was NOT as good as the Obama economy, and that was BEFORE the pandemic. The Trump tax cuts were a disasters, which lead directly to the pandemic economic crash.

That's not true. There are no real jobs in the Keystone pipeline and its an ecological disaster, that has already had leaks into the groundwater. There were 1000 jobs at any given time, tops, and they were very temporary as the pipeline came through a region. At most, there were 200 permanent jobs maintaining the pipeline.

This is tar sands oil, which is the dirtiest oil in the world. Trump should have NEVER overturned the Obama decision with respect to its construction. The USA was already a net exporter of oil when Obama turned down Keystone XL.

Joe Biden was in office when the USA had the largest increase in oil production in the past 75 years - 80% increase in energy production in the Obama/Biden Administration. The ONLY thing Biden has done since taking office, is to restore many of the Obama era policies that helped make that increase happen.
