Computer/media high tech is hitting decreasing marginal returns a bit sooner and a bit harder than expected but no big deal long term. Likewise the financials are having problems that will decrease dramatically as operations move to lower tax jurisdictions. The same is true of high-tech to a lesser degree.

That mitigation works better nearer to the end of the year because it is better for the employees the companies want to retain. So July, August, Sept and Oct. should see market declines with a turn around when the companies start moving after the election.

Well all of an issue's value come from future cash distributions: dividends, option premiums and being takenover/liquidated. Without those sources of future cash you might as well be using a slot machine or the lottery as an investment instrument.
