Democrats were quick to gloat over former President Trump’s arrest at the Fulton County, Ga., Jail on Thursday night and the release of his history-making mug shot.
The only mug shot ever taken of a current or former president quickly ricocheted around the world — and around X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
House Judiciary Democrats shared the mug shot with the caption, “No one is above the law.”
Despite having been arraigned on three prior indictments, the mug shot taken of Trump on Thursday in Georgia was his first.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) shared a video of him laughing at the mug shot photo and saying, “We got you, and more to come. … Clown, thug, crook, criminal.”
However, in later posts on X, Bowman added that in a “normal world” a Trump mug shot would have been the “end of his political career,” but “his poll numbers are actually going up.”
“This mugshot is not what you think it is. It’s a jackpot for Trump who will use this image to raise MILLIONS of dollars from his cult – and the worst part is they are going to use it to win even more elections so they can change our laws to make it easier to steal our Democracy,” he added.

But it wasn’t just the mug shot of the former president that was the fodder of jokes on social media for Democrats.
Rudy Giuliani, one of the 18 co-defendants in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s years-long investigation into efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia, also had a mug shot taken when he surrendered Wednesday.


Commentary:
Trump’s mugshot and arrests and indictments will give him street cred in the black community - many who are treated unfairly and undergo the same experiences.
Technically, Maoist Democrats are unimpressed and aren’t going to let us see their disappointment. This was supposed to be a bigger night for Maoist Marxists than the night when Hillary was scheduled to come crashing through the glass ceiling at the Jacob Javits center on election eve.
Their big arrest turned out to be the Big Fani Fizzle. The only awesome thing about it was the police motorcycle escort providing security to President Trump came driving in. Motorcycles seem to like President Trump. I think a picture of Big Fani slinking in through the back door entrance would have been a better picture to sell.

In the end, our maker has a way of dealing with people who gloat over injustice.

Well, about that...

1) "Never take a mugshot photo of an innocent man with at least 75 million fans"......Trump's core base is around 40-45 million. And I'm being generous. The rest were/are independents.
2) "Don’t indict and book someone for being an election denier when there’s indisputable evidence that you were prepared to deny the election on the exact same grounds".....Nothing of the sort happened in either 2000 or 2016.

Let's move beyond semantics. There is ample evidence Trump broke the law at both the state and federal level. He can scream as much as he'd like. At the end of the day, he's gonna be found guilty on the bulk of the 91 counts he currently has against him.
Why not just abandon him and move on to someone that you can support instead of this boat anchor that's gonna end up dragging you and your party to the bottom?

Trump is innocent and the only thing you loons are doing is guaranteeing him the presidency. Keep up the good work!

I’ll get to all of them in a minute, but I’ll start with the most obvious: Never take a mugshot photo of an innocent man with at least 75 million fans, a large percentage of whom are brave and have a great sense of humor.
Let’s start with the mugshot itself and Trump’s defiant reaction. (By the way, people are saying, “Well, you did surrender,” meaning Trump turned himself in. That’s literal to the point of stupidity. Trump obviously means that we shouldn’t surrender in the larger fight, and he fully understood that his defiant mugshot is a weapon in that larger fight.)

First truth: Race-obsessed Southern Democrat prosecutors have a long and deserved reputation for corruption:

Fani Willis is no exception. However, she is the Icarus of the bunch, flying closer to the sun than any previous race-obsessed Southern Democrat prosecutor before her. Her fall, when it comes, will be stupendous.
Second truth: Don’t indict and book someone for being an election denier when there’s indisputable evidence that you were prepared to deny the election on the exact same grounds:
