This is a tremendous documentary on the WWII (1974). It used to run weekly on PBS.

I have never heard a theme song that is so fitting. It is haunting, powerful and elicits the emotions of war.

The World at War is a 26-episode British television documentary series on World War II and the events immediately before and after it. It was produced by Jeremy Isaacs, narrated by Laurence Olivier, and has a score composed by Carl Davis.

With intro by Sir Laurence Olivier (Oradour-sur-Glane - martyred village in France)

That was an amazing show. I think I need to buy a copy for my kids. It was fascinating.
