I've personally known about Bill Clinton's escapades in Arkansas since the mid-80's through a friend of a friend back in South Carolina. Cocaine was so cheap you could get ounces of 95% pure for $1500.( That's 28 grams of rock at $100 ea or $2800 ) So then people got greedy and started cutting it and calling it crack etc...the 90's is when GHW Bush and then Clinton beefed up the state police forces and for-profit prisons emerged coincidentally...."Bring in the drugs then lock them up and make money off that too." It gets even deeper if you want to talk about
things like the Oklahoma City bombing, Libya, Qatar drug-running , the Clinton Foundation's less-than -transparent activities in Haiti, Nigeria and other countries around the world.
MENA, Ark. -- What do Bill Clinton and Oliver North have in common, along with the Arkansas State Police and the Central Intelligence Agency? All probably wish they had never heard of Mena.
President Clinton was asked at his Oct. 7 press conference about Mena, a small town and airport in the wilds of Western Arkansas. Sarah McClendon, a longtime Washington curmudgeon renowned for her off-the-wall questions, wove a query around the charge that a base in Mena was "set up by Oliver North and the CIA" in the 1980s and used to "bring in planeload after planeload of cocaine" for sale in the U.S., with the profits then used to buy weapons for the Contras. Was he told as Arkansas governor? she asked.
