The Paris coverage shows how easy it is to commit an attack and get away. It's more of a recruitment video for ISIS and Al Qaeda than anything else. It show how unarmed and unprepared the cops are in France.

The media doesn't give a damn about anybody dying, they are only out to make money on the story. Hebdo just sold 5 million copies today, when they usually only sell a hundred thousand. The bigger the story, the bigger the profit.

When will anyone learn that the media is the "False Prophet", out to bring Armageddon? Even when the media fooled the whole world into believing Shrub's declaration that Iraq had nukes, everyone just drank the koolaid.

This doesn't surprise me. The media is always quick to spill their guts about what they learn no matter what kind of harm their saying so could do later on. Just as long as they are the first to share the news. That is all that they care about no matter what the repercussions of their actions may be later on for other people.

God bless you always!!!

I have to assume the media is controlled by the CIA overseas as it is here in the states.we know that they created and funded al queda and remember, they operate around the world so you got to assume they control information around the country same as they do here in the states.

They can report more when things get worse.

-- and make more money, which is what commercial media (again, that's commercial media) is all about.

And if on a particular day things are not worse, well that's where we count on our writers to make 'em sound worse. Because the point is, gotta sell papers. That's what commercial media is all about.

But don't you dare take my tax dollars to fund noncommercial media. What, a media without the incentive to amplify the sensational?? We can't have that. :nono:

No, as long as the people have a need to be informed, count on the commercial media to milk it for every penny it's worth.

And provides better plots for future movies.

And that reporting would also show the shortcomings to its residences which, I would hope would make them demand change- which could turn out to be a positive.
At times I do believe the media reports too much, but in some cases-not all- reports just might bring about positive change.

Massmedia at the very beginning didn't work for people it worked at the expense of them... Nowadays massmedia and money have become synonyms. Massmedia is a perfect instrument of politics, earning money and achieving someone's goals. This tragedy in Paris has proved this again.
