Dupe? I watched the bidding reverse upward on Jan 28, 1999 and lead to a bubble that popped in 2008.
The economy in general was good in 1995 because of the same dynamic that has kept it in the hole under Obama: energy. Cheap and plentiful between 1981 and 2000 then squeezed down after that. Once alleviated in late 2008 but squeezed down again by Obama in 2009.
