The kids when playing sports and in general now have to sign an agreement between the school and the student and parents about behavior that is expected of them..When in extracurricular activities there is another signed agreement which covers more intensely about consent of acceptable behavior..What the boys did is innocent to people that actually support the KKK yet the actions even outside the school grounds is unacceptable under the school's policy.. Employees of companies are not protected by the Constitution as you want to believe they are. When an employee is on an employers clock they are representing the employer. I'm not accusing you of just calling out football. No matter what the activity - they did nothing wrong. And, their faces are not even being shown, so nobody can even prove that they play a sport. Because as athletes, they represent the school. If they competed in the chess club, I'd say the same thing. You don't want racism to be the face of your school and it would be if they were allowed to continue to play.
