Ah so the EU is corrupt? because they expelled Russia over the invasion of Crimea, the meddling in elections, the shooting down of civilian airliners and the nerve gassing of people in other countries? You know what, if the norms and values of the Western Democracies is construed as corruption you should get yourself some jackboots and just call for Trump I. That would at least be intellectually honest.

No, the EU is naturally corrupt in every way because it’s socialism/globalism

What's corrupt about socialism? I'll tell you a fact. In Europe political campaigns are funded by taxpayers money. It is limited in time, scope and funding. There are no super pacs or private donations allowed. This means corporations have little influence on elections. What is more corrupt? An election that can only be won if you take donations by corporations that will expect that politician to cater to them. Or an election that is a level playing field? You know nothing and are proud of that fact. Even the article you used as a source makes no mention of any link between Conte backing Trump and him being anti-socialist. See in Europe there is no real movement to go after the social safety net. Anti-globalism and anti-immigration for sure but not anti-socialism. Doing so would immediately make any party that suggests it unellectable. That is the truth not some rhetoric you heard on Fox and Friends.
