What, with all the people it has to revolve around to work right. Anybody else notice how many people walk around like the world owes them something, even more so than a few years ago?

If one person is offended by a religious display, it doesn't matter how much went into making it and displaying it. It doesn't matter how much joy it has brought to however many people. No, all that matters is that it offends them, so it must be taken down, period.

A hurrican hits the coast. Instead of getting out when they can, many of the people simply sit there and expect the government to flash dry their house and give them as much money as they had in assets before the storm. If they cough, they want Cpt. Kirk to beam them directly into sickbay and be operated on within the hour.

It doesn't matter how busy traffic is, what you're trying to communicate to the person on the other side of the counter, or even if class is going on. No, you have to answer your cell phone RIGHT NOW! After all, caller ID says it's your friend, and this could be that one call in a million when your friend's life is at stake and you're the only one who can help.

It doesn't matter what the father's will is for the child, whether that child may grow up to cure cancer, or even if some barren couple wants to adopt the poor thing, pregnancy makes you look FAT, so that kid has got to go.

Modern society has been teaching everyone that they're the center of everything, and frankly, I'm sick of it. If you're going to breathe the same air I do, you had better share.

if they would only listen...this would be a much better earth to live on!

I do find it offensive when MY tax dollars are used to promote YOUR religion, yes.

The majority of people left behind didn't have cars. Or wings.

The father is free to gestate the fetus in his own womb if he likes.

Government doesn't want to PROMOTE religion, they are merely recognizing its existence, expecially since the MAJORITY of this country consider themselves of the same religion. Since when do the minority over-rule the majority?

They had feet. They had arms. People got around without cars and even horses for centuries. They all walked or hitched a ride with someone they knew had other means of transport. If their TV and other material possessions are more important than their own lives, then they should not be whining about the government not doing everything to help them out of something they were more than capable (sick/elderly/hospital ridden folk not withstanding) of doing THEMSELVES. They were so used to the government taking care of them, they didn't stop to think about how to care for themselves. Only the strongest shall survive.

It takes TWO people to conceive a child. Somthing you should have studied in school at least. That child had no choice in its conception, so why should it die for the parent's mistake? Or better yet, why doesn't the father, who is 50% of the child's genetic make-up, get a say in its fate? Why not give barren couples (or just couples who want to adopt rather than conceive their own) the chance to give the baby a home the parents know they can't? For all we know, someone has already aborted the greatest scientist who would discover something that would revolutionize the world in a good way.

You really hit the nail on the head.......Now if we could just get everyone to understand
