Scary, indeed.

The Doomsday Clock Is Reset: Closest To Midnight Since The 1950s

The minute hand on the Doomsday Clock ticked closer to midnight Thursday, as the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists said it's seeing an increase in dangers to humanity, from climate change to nuclear warfare. The group took the "unprecedented" step of moving the clock 30 seconds closer to midnight, to leave it at 2 1/2 minutes away.

The setting is the closest the clock has come to midnight since 1953, when scientists moved it to two minutes from midnight after seeing both the U.S. and the Soviet Union test hydrogen bombs. It remained at that mark until 1960.

"Make no mistake, this has been a difficult year," Rachel Bronson, executive director and publisher of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, said as the new setting was announced Thursday.

"I would only agree that a symbolic clock is as nourishing to the intellect as a photo of oxygen to a drowning man." -- Dr. Manhattan

When the leader of the most powerful nation in the world is showing the same symptoms as the leader of North Korea, it bodes ill for all of us.

Employed goofballs, Jim. And, yes, it matters. Because most of us vote in every election. And this old man will retire this summer, and I plan to take an active part in politics.

All Obama's prodding of Russia no doubt...
You like the taste when you are kissing Putin's ass?

Truth hurts doesn't it...President Nobel Prize ( what a joke  ) pushed the doomsday clock closer to midnight than any president in the last 30 years. I understand your need for childish lashing out, but regardless of how much better it makes you feel, it changes nothing.

Bullshit

A fitting description of Obama's foreign policy. At least you recognize what got us into this mess. Trying to cover humiliating political defeat by blaming and sanctioning a nuclear power, all to save face...what an idiot Obama was. Thank God he's gone. There is significant hope President Trump can repair the damage.
