The Dems just don't get it!

The truth is that even moderate Democrats wouldn't vote for the watered down version of the first Obama Stimulus that failed so badly. It wasn't just the GOP that wasn't going to throw good money after bad with a second stimulus that really didn't differ from the first at all! At that point even Democrats wanted no part of giving the 3 Stooges a "do over" with billions more in taxpayer money!

Oh, please! I didn't compare hardworking Americans to "shit on shelves"! All I did was point out that an estimate of between 1.4 million and 3.3 million is so incredibly HUGE that it begs the question...
You compared 1.4 million and 3.3 million Americans back to work, to 1.4 million dollars and 3.3 million shit on shelves.

does the person or persons making that estimate have the faintest idea what the real number is or are they just pulling numbers out of their ass!
I don't know.

I explained to you WHY corporations weren't hiring! CEO's get paid a lot of money to make decisions about what will be profitable in the future and to act accordingly. When the Obama Administration shoved the ACA down the throats of the American people and went on to announce that what they'll be going after Cap & Trade legislation that will substantially increase the cost of energy in the US...why would anyone risk capital to grow a business or start a business? Barry, Harry and Nancy did those things and then were BAFFLED because Private Sector capital wasn't being invested! It's what happens when you let people that don't have a clue about economics...run an economy!
No one invests where there isn't demand. That just doesn't happen.

I will say the Dems are not that much better.

I'm curious...the Obama Stimulus contained billions for infrastructure spending that Nancy Pelosi promised would immediately create "shovel ready" jobs...Barry, Harry and Nancy got that money...correct? They controlled the House...the Senate and the Oval Office so they obviously controlled how and to who that money would go to...yet you blame bills that the GOP didn't vote for years later for the failure of the Obama Stimulus to create jobs? That's an amusing concept, Billo...even for you!
No, I blame the Dem leadership as well.

So everyone who disagrees with you is crazy? How convenient!

No, but people who post things like this are:

I'd certainly like to see it. Those "rioters", as you call them, are grassroots, right wing voters, who are very pissed off at the GOP. That's not a liberal uprising, it's your corn-fed conservative brethren that is finally making noise.

YessireeBob. Do you prefer to have conversations with one lightbulb? or two?

No corporation has ever done that. Furthermore, you have the option of not staying in the hospital. What option do you have about paying taxes?
I certainly didn't ask them to charge me that much. And the government didn't tell them to charge me that much. So who made the decision to charge me $32,000 for a one night stay in the hospital?

You are one little corporate bitch, aren't you?

Who made the decision to charge you $2.25/gal for gas? What makes you think you're entitled to pay what you want to pay? You're actually equating that with some government storm trooper pointing a gun in your face if you refuse to do what the government tells you to do?

It takes a special kind of stupid to swallow that kind of "logic."

That's just common sense there. They damn sure ain't our friends.

Your average everyday working man does not have a globalist agenda to push.

At least we have the freedom to do so, much unlike Germany under Goebbels.

God Bless America!
Actually, Goebbels declared their media the enemy as well. There's a reason freedom of the press is constitutionally protected.
It's the same reason liberals hate the 1st Amendment so much.

No one pays $32,000 for one night in a hospital. They might pay that for heart surgery and then a night in the hospital. If that's what you are talking about, then you are failing to mention all the services provided.
I was in the hospital last month for one night. The bill was $32,000.

So you were there for no reason other than sleeping?

Really?

If they had trouble filling the rooms they would lower the price. But since Insurance pays everything it changes the rules of supply and demand.
Companies don't lower their prices unless they have to. And since the healthcare industry is basically a monopoly, there is nothing that can force them to. The public option would've done that.
An entire industry is a monopoly? I didn't know that was possible.

If it is a monopoly, it's a government protected monopoly. The government has all manner of regulations that prevent medical providers from competing. For example, in many cities if a company wants to open a new hospital, it has to get something called a "certificate of need." Who approves that? Why, a board composed of the directors of other hospitals, of course - the competition, in other words.

If we got government out of the picture, the cost of care would drop like a stone.

Your list doesn't say what makes them socialists.

You do not have freedom, or liberty. What you have is Bannon. You are now at the mercy of the corporate oligarchy that runs this country.
How is that any different than what we had under Obama?

I'm betting that oligarchy is going to get taken down a notch or two during the next four years. In fact, I'm sure some of them are behind funding the rioters as well as Soros. Theyre going to go kicking and screaming, kind of like the MSM is doing; They see the writing on the wall.
I'd certainly like to see it. Those "rioters", as you call them, are grassroots, right wing voters, who are very pissed off at the GOP. That's not a liberal uprising, it's your corn-fed conservative brethren that is finally making noise.
They are paid leftwing Astroturf.

Who do you think you're fooling?

"Jobs bill" is a Democrat euphemism meaning "reelection slush fund."

No one invests where there isn't demand. That just doesn't happen.

No one invests in the Private Sector without the anticipation of profit! Demand is needed but demand by itself will not induce investment if there isn't a strong potential for profit. What I was pointing out to you (repeatedly) is that the Obama agenda...with things like the ACA and the proposed regulations on Cap & Trade...were all decreasing the potential to make profits because they both raised business costs. This seems to be a concept that progressives can't wrap their heads around. I'm not sure why that is since it's basic economic theory but it's rather obvious that Economics was not studied by Barry, Harry or Nancy.

Even if that's true, isn't that better than communism?

I've never lived in a communist system, so I wouldn't know.

hmmm, not sure I buy that

I know its good to have some socialism in this society like Medicare and Social Security. What is not good in this society, is totalitarian capitalism, which we're getting closer to.

but like communism, wouldn't you need to live under totalitarianism to know that?[/QUOTE]

Better? Better than what? Why would any reasonable person support a watered down version of a stimulus plan that wasn't successful the first time? Moderate Democrats wouldn't vote for the second stimulus plan that Barry, Harry and Nancy were calling for because they were still trying to explain to their constituents back home how Democrats managed to spend nearly a trillion dollars in the first stimulus and create so few jobs that the Obama Administration had to come up with "Jobs Created or Saved" to hide just how bad it was!

Why is that crazy? Who else would show up at a republican town hall meeting? The Dutch?
