No- Donald Trump was sued- personally- by the Justice Department- along with his father and their company.

And Trump settled agreeing to a consent decree where they promised not to discriminate in the future.

The case was dismissed after Trump signed the consent decree and allowed the complainant to move in. But that still doesn't detract from him being a racist schmuck who refused to let blacks rent his apartments whether the case was dismissed or not. Learn to reason.

Wait a minute! If Jesse and Al make money from shakedowns...who would pay them and for what? They aren't lawyers. Besides... If the"shakedown" was groundless...why give them anything? Perhaps a gift from victorious plantiffs for their time and expenses might occur...but do you have proof of that?

Positions that were held fifty years ago and long since abandoned. Both are now dead

While Democrats have long since abandoned positions they held 50-150 years ago, Republicans have stepped up to embrace those values

It is TODAYs Republicans who continue to defend the Confederacy
TODAYs Republicans who oppose affirmative action and Civil Rights
The klan and white supremacists are flocking to TODAYs Republican Party

No...we don't defend the Confederacy...some defend preserving the history....since Republicans defeated the democrats who owned the slaves, and you guys want to hide your racist, slave owning history.

Affirmative action is affirmative racism.....and the ones attacking Civil Rights are your antifa thugs and black lives matter thugs....

They are not part of the Republican party, they have no support and no one wants them...the democrats......embrace antifa, and had the racist group, black lives matter to the white house...actual racist groups....la rasa, black lives matter, ......they are power players in the democrat party...

There is no comparison....the democrat party is the party of racism......end of story.

And there's the difference. Look here. How many people trying to create these revisionist stories about the Civil War when the writings of those people. How many pushing this as a political party stance when it was a liberal party stepping up against a Christian Conservative party that wanted to protect slavery at all costs.

I don't care if Hillary switches parties and runs as a Republican, she's not a conservative and THAT is what matters to me.

And we don't build statues to educate. We write down our history for that. Who here is arguing you can't really learn about Mickey Mouse unless you see his statue at disneyworld? Come on. Have you heard the speeches about those statues. The Charlottesville speech when they celebrated the creation of that monument to him called Lee the greatest man to ever live. They said that the world itself was too small of a base for his statue. They held parades to celebrate him. That's not history, that defending and celebrating the Confederacy. That's why these statues aren't about Lee the American Soldier against Secession or Lee the plantation owner or Lee the Reconstruction Promoter, or Lee the president of Washington College. Nope, They are all of Lee the General in rebellion against the USA.

As for nobody wants those groups. We literally just had a President say that you can join KKK protests and still be a good person. What the hell? How backwards do you have to be?

It was the conservative south which fought against civil rights. Numbers-wise, there were more Democrats in the South where a larger percentage of Republicans than Democrats voted against it. In the north, a larger percentage of Republicans than Democrats voted against it.
