Merely a satirical film or are its writers Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon actually trying to tell us that something is coming?
After all, most of us who have lived during the first Cold War know how deeply embedded in Hollywood the CIA has been, yes?
Is there more to the film than meets the eyes, in your opinion?

I'm certainly not a fan of everything the Alex Jones crowd thinks with regard to global subversive indoctrination and whatnot, but I think the conspiracy theorists are on to something with regard to this particular film, much like they are with regard to Stanley Kubrick's 1999 psychodrama, Eyes Wide Shut.
