The biggest problem with Liberalism, Socialism and Communism is that there is no incentive for/to Prosper, Innovate, Produce or Invent.

Why do all you can do get ahead or make your life better if all you do is given to the guy/gal down the street doing just enough to survive/not get a bullet in the head?

Capitalism needs Socialist programs to work at maximum efficiency like Social Security, Medicare and the like but these programs by the Left wanting Free Healthcare for all and Free College is nothing more than buying votes to gain power and we all know those who say they want these programs will never be able to deliver unless this country goes full on Communist.

In their pure forms, communism and libertarianism both fly in the face of human nature.

Within communism, there will always be people who could have helped the country prosper but were never given the opportunity, and that hurts everyone. Within libertarianism, there will always be people who organically lack the capacity to create wealth, and the resulting imbalances will lead to social divisions and electoral revolution.

As with most things, finding a proper equilibrium is the key. Unfortunately, right now, we don't seem to be able to understand that. And/or, our narcissism is so strong that we lack the capacity to engage in the collaboration that leads to innovation and progress.

Families are essentially 'communist' and there seems to be no lack of incentive to work for and improve the group. Love, in fact, is the strongest human motivator.
