Be more specific to which bible and religion because people mistake the Jewish religion through missunderstanding concepts and terms and usages through their Christian influence & butchering of thise concepts.
Let's review simple examples:
The Hebrew God (defining power & source of creation) is an essence /nature not a figure or form nor man.
Soon as you MISTAKINGLY ANTHROPROMORPHIZE that Essence in life you go against the simple and most prominant rules not to and thys make a form or idol which is not the Tanakhs intent. The intent of the Hebrew bible is to get man away from these idols and mystical fantasy teachings you including admit is problematic.
All the miracles in the Tanskh are merely processes not figured out or missunderstanding the interpretation and usage of poetic words by the scribes.
Events like Moses parting the waters, getting water from a rock, food falling from the sky is all possible in nature whereby intellect and thus knowledge (which reflects this nature we call God) is used to help man overcone it's situation. Just because you don't know or understand the usage of the Hebrew Bible doesn't make it magical miraculous in fantasy, it just means you have not figured out the processes of how it's possible for a book to know exact dates of future events and embed them in the chapter and verses of their description.
You also don't know about how sages understood history repeating gives us insight on future emulations thus recording human behavior and socisl political events help predict future events=proohecy understood.
You would have people throw out these important writings in understanding and warning man of it's repeated errors simply because you were unaware & easily manipulated and misslead on how things are by Christianity blinding errors which not only confused it's followers but as you oroved even blinds the non believers of the obvious.

More facts: The Torah states their God and it's essence is in the name of the city YeruShalem. Shalem means completeness and wholeness=evolving to be all you could and should be. We do this through laws., setting up councils, introspect, learning and improving from our past mistakes through Torahs ethos. Judaism is a transhumanist religion and you are saying being all we could and should be is wrong, basically saying we should not evolve. You are saying for us to stop learning from Abrahams acts of kindness towards strangers and love for his neighbors. We should not learn from his breaking of the idols nor Moses condemning idol worship.
You are saying Jesus is a false prophet doing fake wonders yet the Hebrew bible warns of this, and yet you want nobody to be warned or to listen to that same concern you have.
To complain about that which liberates you from the very things you complain supresses you makes absolutely no sense.
Throughout the Hebrew bible it busts on cultures who used sorcery, necromancy, and idols to subvert and control through. It exposed the Baal harvest /seeding scams of the priests of Bel which still exists today. It's is listed as rules of law in Deut, the book you'd like to throw away merely through missunderstanding and being misslead by the very same religion you bust on.

Taking the Bible literally does lead to believing in magic, but don't be too judgmental of all the people who put so much work into alchemy. They did produce very important experimental techniques and medicines. They were right too. They just weren't advanced enough to get the result they were looking for.
