The plan all along was to shake up all those countries leaders who's power went to their head & believed they could defy the USA when we were the ones who were propping them up in the first place. It also turns their citizens lives on their heads as they fight each other. This makes them think twice before they turn against the USA again & keeps them to busy saving their own lives so they don't have time to attack us.
