The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 645,571 in the week ending Jan. 2, an increase of 88,000 from the previous week,

Yet, those damned flying arses in Washington will claim that this is the fourth month of decreasing claims so they can get more fools to put money into mutual funds to make the bankers rich, and then the pull the rug out from under the public.

This administration is so totally corrupt that Obama needs to be removed NOW, not later.

They just claimed that UI claims went down again.

Those people are not really losing their jobs, they are just confused, Right????????

Are the people confused, or is the government lying like a son of a bitch! I know the answer.

People we are in a rapidly escalating DEPRESSION!

YOU ARE BEING LIED TO BY OUR GOVERNMENT SO THAT THE BIG BANKS CAN TAKE MOST OF YOUR INVESTMENT MONEY AGAIN.

FOR FOUR MONTHS NOW THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN RELEASING TOTALLY BOGUS NUMBERS TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THAT EVERYTHING IS IMPROVING.

THE UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE CLAIMS TELL THE TRUTH. THE GOVERNMENT IS REQUIRED TO POST THEM AT THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR BUT THEY THEN TELL THE PUBLIC THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING. THINGS ARE NOT IMPROVING OVER THE PAST FOUR MONTHS, THEY HAVE BEEN COLLAPSING.

We are in for a world of hurt.

HERE, YOU CAN SEE HOW THEY LIE IN THE NEWS RELEASES OUT OF WASHINGTON. PRE-SCRIPTED FOR THE NEWS MEDIA....

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A government report Thursday on claims for unemployment aid signaled that layoffs are easing and that the economy could be on the verge of posting the first monthly gain in jobs in two years.

The number of people claiming unemployment benefits for the first time barely rose last week, after two weeks of sharp drops. But the four-week average of claims, which smooths fluctuations, fell for the 18th straight week to 450,250. That figure is nearing the roughly 425,000 that many economists say would be a sign the economy will start creating jobs.
