Me too. Finally put up the tree and decorations today. Mrs. Santa Blood and the munchkin have been pissed at me for a week. They wanted them up last Sunday but I said it was too early. "But you're Santa" they said and so I had to relent.

Good for you, sweetheart. I will get there as soon as I begin playing my favorite Christmas music stored on my computer..99 hours worth...lol. That takes me to get the tree and the combination of the real tree scent, and the carols, will put a spring in my step and by then the ice and show will have melted and I will be in the Christmas spirit. I wait until 10 to 14 days, before I start that special feeling of my favorite holiday of all, Christmas.

It is a magical time of year, I am going to pick up my mother and bring her back here and then I will be cooking up a storm.

I still have a herd of electric reindeer to set up in the front and side yard but the tree and the lights are up. My wife has the house full of seasonal nick-knacks, we especially love the Christmas Season but we're down to one teenager. ..

Fond memories of a small Northern town where they leave the Christmas lights up across the main drag all year long.

Then, on a December Sunday evening, the volunteer firemen take out the ladder truck. They turn on the lights and drive through the town with the ladder partially elevated to change out all the burned-out lamps.

Then have one hell of a snowball-type fight with the burned out bulbs!

Above it's a wonderland!

Underfoot it's like beautifully colourful snowflakes.
