It's been a week of hot weather in the 100 plus range and no rain.
We just got a major downpour that lasted about 20 minutes and it really cooled things off!!
There's nothing better than smelling the rain heading your way!!

Yeah. Been some heat lately. Wearing long sleeve FRCs in live plants doesn't help.

The Shenandoah Valley is enjoying temps in the 70s today and through Monday. I's supposed to get down to 51 tonight.....After that the pretty normal early Summer temps....Not bad.

We had 107 and 105 earlier this week It's only 97 today and if it gets any lower. I'll have to get another blanket tonight. Damn global cooling!

I-81 runs through the Valley.....But yeah, the same applies to the truckers passing each other at a whole 67 MPH.....You only go as fast as the truckers allow on the two-lane stretches in my AO.....I mostly use Rt. 11 that parallels it.

and here, we have yet to have more than 2 days without rain, or temps over 70........which I think happened once about 2 weeks ago


Yes I'm complaining.......but only a little bit cause I don't want the weather we had last year. Which was rain, rain, rain, triple digits for a week (late June), then no rain until October

A cat is the worst thing you could have used....I wouldnt hesitate to shoot the cat if it meant cool weather.
