Why should it be hard to get a liquor license? You open a restaurant and file all the necessary paperwork but then you have to go through mega complex bureaucracy. If it were privatized it would be much easier.

You really don’t know history...China began economic reforms back in the 70s under Deng Xiaoping whereby they decollectivized agriculture, opened up foreign investment, & allowed private businesses to operate. The Communist Party retained control but they effectively implemented a ton of capitalist reforms because...once again....communism can’t do it. They then went further in the 80s by privatizing state industries. Guess what happened? Their economy took off. Funny how that works when you dump failed policies such as socialism/communism...now political reform hasn’t happened, but they are not a communist state by any stretch.

Okay, I'm going to try to treat this as "rational".

There are 11 Million undocumented immigrants here. We can only deport at most, 400,000 a year. Our courts really can't handle more than that.

Even assuming you can stop any new ones from getting here, including the ones who get deported returning, it would still take you over 25 years to deport them all.
