It probably is a sincere offer. He is willing to put aside the feelings the US shares for him to help them out.
I would accept his offer, but monitor his volunteers closely when they arrive.

Thats fucking nuts.:eusa_hand:

I'd have to disagree, it's not nuts.

During the soviet invasion, some bootless and beaten troops stumbled upon and afgan village.
They properly asked for help and were given sanctuary.
When asked what happened to them, they said another village just beat them and took everything of any value.
The village men armed themselves went to that village and massacred them for not showing hospitality.

But since this is the first time a terrorist has made such an offer.....

Terrorist Offers Hurricane Aid, US Says No Thanks - Yahoo!

The U.S. has turned down an offer of post-Hurricane Sandy assistance from one of the world's most wanted men, a Pakistani terror leader with a $10 million U.S. bounty on his head.

Hafiz Saeed, an Islamist militant who is alleged to have masterminded the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that left more than 160 people dead, issued a written statement Wednesday saying his organization was willing to send supplies and volunteers to help the U.S. East Coast recover.

"We are ready to send food items, medicines and doctors to the U.S. for the people affected by the storm," said Saeed. "America [may] fix bounties on our heads but as followers of the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), we feel it is our Islamic duty to help Americans trapped in a catastrophe." Saeed noted that the charity he heads had provided aid in Sri Lanka and Indonesia after the 2004 tsunami.

huh

I honestly don't know what to make of that.

I mean it sounds like a nice offer.... but if he is responsible for the Mumbai attack, then hell no... I dont trust him. And how the hell does a terrorist orginization have money, and doctors to spare??

I really dont know what to make of it either. I voted "huh, what?"

I'm OK with him sending supplies. The USA is turning away volunteers.

This part of the article had me going... 'huh?'
'Saeed is the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a terror group banned by the Pakistani government, and still heads its charity wing, Jamaat ud Dawa.'

If the guy is really sincere, then I consider this a very lousy situation because then its him against those who are not no matter where they are from. Because of how many people in the world who do not care, how do you know who can be trusted? :( :( :(

God bless you always!!!

I think it's simply a move to boost his image. Muslims will buy. The Hell's Angels did the same thing. Remember their Toys for Tots campaign? They want us to know that they are actually sweet loveable guys.

Of course, and a package of anthrax right up our asses, we are the dumbest people on the face of the earth if some of us are actually trusting this guy.
