Not an exception: Terrorist attacks on civlians in Syria
"On Wednesday afternoon, a car bomb rocked the Akrama neighborhood of Homs for the 2nd time in 5 months, killing 6 civilians and wounding 72 others as a result of another callous terrorist attack. The car was parked in front of a residential building on the very busy Al-Ishaaq St. before it was detonated by unknown assailants.
Syrian Security Forces are currently investigating this terrorist attack; however, Akrama has constantly been a target for militant groups like the Al-Qaeda linked “Al-Nusra Front” (Jabhat Al-Nusra) and militias belonging to the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
The civilians in Akrama are still recovering from the heinous terrorist attack on the Akrama School in late 2014 that killed 47 children and wounded dozens of bystanders. Following this terrorist attack, civilians in Akrama took to the streets to protest the Governor of Homs due to poor security measures around the neighborhood."
