Terrorist attack on Idlib failed, over 1200 terrorists dead

Breaking: Syrian Army Reopens the Ithriyah-Salamiyah Road in East Hama After Defeating ISIS

"Moments ago, the Syrian Arab Army’s 66th Brigade of the 10th Tank Division – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the predominately Palestinian pro-government militia “Liwaa Al-Quds” (Jerusalem Brigades) – defeated the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) at the western outskirts of Ithriyah in order to reopen the strategic Ithriyah-Salamiyah Road inside the Hama Governorate’s eastern countryside.

According to a military source from the Syrian Arab Army’s 66th Brigade in the eastern Hama city of Al-Salamiyah, the Syrian Armed Forces were able to recapture the territory lost to the terrorist group along the Ithriyah-Salamiyah Road after intense clashes with ISIS this morning left many enemy combatants dead and much of their equipment destroyed.

While the Syrian Armed Forces were successful in the aforementioned military endeavor, the Syrian Government’s main supply route along the Aleppo-Khanasser Highway that leads to the Aleppo Governorate remains cutoff by ISIS; this report has been confirmed by multiple sources from the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces in the Hama Governorate.

As long as ISIS has control of the Ithriyah-Khanasser Road, the Syrian Armed Forces will not have direct access to the imperative Aleppo-Khanasser that leads to the Aleppo Governorate’s provincial capital.

However, in conjunction with the Syrian Arab Army’s success along the Ithriyah-Salamiyah Road, the Russian Air Force has emerged to help push the terrorist forces back towards the Al-Raqqa Governorate."

Jaysh Al-Fateh Recovers Sukayk on the Idlib-Hama Border

"On Wednesday evening, the coalition of Islamist factions in northern Syria – “Jaysh Al-Fateh” (Army of Conquest) – declared full control over the imperative town of Sukayk on the Hama-Idlib border after 48 hours of intense firefights with the Syrian Arab Army’s 87th Brigade from the 11th Tank Division.

The Islamist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh – led by Ajnad Al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) – began their assault on Sukayk two weeks ago; however, this was mostly just skirmishes and an exchange of mortar shells with the Syrian Armed Forces.

Ajnad Al-Sham and their allies pounded the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses with several mortar shells and rockets this morning before they charged the northern perimeter of Sukayk, where they were able to force the 87th Brigade to withdraw to the southern flank of the town.

With Sukayk under their control, Ajnad Al-Sham and their Jaysh Al-Fateh allies are in prime position to strike the nearby town of ‘Atshan; if captured, Islamist rebels would have reversed the Syrian Arab Army’s gains from their early October offensive.

The Syrian Armed Forces are currently under attack by Jaysh Al-Fateh in northern Hama and the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) in east Hama; this has required them to reinforce several points inside this province in order to avoid losing anymore territory to the enemy."
