I agree they are not citizens and do not have the rights of that are afforded to American citizens, however why can we not try them and either imprison or release them. This is not the first time we have detained enemy combatants but I believe it is the first time we have simply held them. During any wartime action enemy combatants are captured but its high time we do something with them. We are pulling out of both combat theatres and victory was declared long ago try these combatants and punish them according to the verdict.

Is the possibility of a terrorist attack reason enough for our country to be in a constant state of war or with these strikes on an as needed basis can the whole "war" label and all that comes with it be dropped?
