Yep.....a gang related shooting in Britain, an island nation where they banned and confiscated guns....

Teenage cyclist shot dead ‘in gang attack as children played nearby’

A teenager was shot dead as he cycled through a car park in a suspected gang-related attack.

Witnesses told how children playing on the St Ann’s estate in Barking dived for cover after two shots were heard shortly after 7pm on Sunday.

Local police officers, firearms officers and paramedics found the 18-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to an east London hospital where he had emergency surgery, but he died at 10.25pm.

A witness said: “There were two shots, it was so loud. There were children on green space playing nearby and everyone dived for cover. It was really frightening. We just wanted to make sure the kids were all okay. There was an element of panic. We had no idea if a gunman was on the rampage or something.”

Hmmmmmm...how old is the suspect...?

Police said a 20-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the shooting and that enquiries were continuing.

Britain banned and confiscated guns....now the criminals have guns, the law abiding people do not...and they still have criminals shooting people. Right now, their gun crime level is where we were at in the 1950s.......but with their importing people who do not have the same values as British Citizens...gun crime is going to keep going up....

However, as 2aguy will never tell you, the gun laws in the UK have about 15-100 ratio per capita compared to the US.

What are you talkikng about....?

If you are trying to say that their gun laws have made them safer...that would be a "No." You would have to show that their gun murder and gun violence rates were higher before they banned guns and confiscated them.....and that they went down after they banned and confiscated them.....and you can't.

The gun ban did nothing to reduce an already low rate of gun violence compared to the United States.....but....after they passed the gun ban...their gun crime rate sky rocketed...then returned to the same level it was at before the ban....so they achieved nothing by banning guns...why? Because the normal, law abiding gun owners weren't using their guns to shoot people.....so taking guns from them didn't change their gun crime rate.

Now.....years later...their gun crime rate is going up....because criminals in Britain need guns...as the drug trade become more violent, as immigrant gangs take over.....

Gun violence in Britain went up 4% in 2015.....which shows the gun ban did nothing...and as those immigrant drug gangs get more violent.....they will use guns more often......

As I said....the British are where we were going into the 1960s...right before our gun crime spiked......

Homicides in England and Wales up 14%

The police-recorded crime figures include a 9% rise in knife crime and a 4% rise in gun crime, which are thought to reflect a rise in gang violence largely in London and Manchester.

The rise in gun crime is the first recorded for eight years and includes a 10% rise in London.
The official statisticians say that a 36% rise in sexual offences, including the highest number of rapes since 2003 – at 33,341 – reflect a greater willingness of victims to come forward to report such crimes rather than a real surge in attacks.

And if their gun laws worked...they wouldn't have more guns on their streets.....

Rising number of guns being smuggled into UK, Metropolitan police say

More guns are being seized in cities across Britain as the number of firearms being smuggled into the country increases, Britain’s most senior police officer has said.

Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, the Metropolitan police commissioner, told a hearing at London’s City Hall that a rise in gun crime in the capital was being put down to an increase in the number of weapons coming into the country.

The Met seized a “worrying” record number of weapons in 2015, including semiautomatic guns, Hogan-Howe said.

“We’ve seized more firearms than ever before,” he said. “In the previous year [2015] we’ve seized 714 guns – that’s around two per day. In a city this size, that’s a worrying number. This is an increase on previous years. Some of them are semiautomatic weapons, too.

“If you look around the big cities of the country, they are seeing a similar profile. Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool – they are seeing big rises as well.”
