Ted Cruz Introduces Bills to Stop Gay Marriage

It wouldn't end gay marriage in America like the loony Left will bleat about, it would simply allow states to decide the issue for themselves. Not all would ban gay marriage and the butt pirates can all move to the states that allow it.

Then the Feds were wrong when they outlawed slavery. They should have left it up to the states, right?

Slavery violated the Constitution, defining marriage does not. Try to pay attention.

Cruz Is going to fight the gays!

It would not surprise me to find out that Ted Cruz is a closet gay.

Some Leftwats haven't gotten the memo that "opposing homosexuality means you're secretly gay" doesn't actually work.

Leftwats?

Yes... As it turns out most people obsessed with gayness are in fact obsessed with gayness.

Yes. Leftwats.

All MEN are created equal. From many different sources that the country was founded. At the time it was adopted, it meant Free White Landowner Men. All others had no rights. This was pseudo taken care of but I equate Gay rights with Race Rights. We have a tendency to ignore both. If one is left up to the states, the other must also be left up to the states. Or neither shall be left up to the states. You can't have it both ways.

There is no comparison to slavery. Slaves didn't choose to be slaves. Peter puffers choose to puff Peter

Ted knows those bills will never be passed. He is just doing it to keep his crazy supporters riled up.
I thought his supporters were pretending to conservatives.

The comparison here is denying people constitutionally guaranteed rights. If Ted is willing to deny one he should be willing to deny all.

This has nothing to do with slavery, Mortimer.

It actually did not violate the Constitution. Thus the 13th Amendment. But enough people thought it was wrong that it became the law.

Like the old idea of leaving segregation up to the states.
It sort of is. Why do you think the federal government should have intervened in that?

If you want proof that being gay is a choice, consider any well known conservative politician who has come out of the closet late in life. There have been several. Then...ask yourself why in the fuck would they choose to be gay?

To get votes? Seems to work for Democrats.
Leonard Bernstein was married to his wife for probably 30 years. And then left her on her deathbed for his gay lover. Was that a choice? Or suddenly after 30 years he just had this compulsion?

You just said that conservatives choose to be gay in order to get votes? I often ask myself why you aren't the head of a political think tank.
