You’ve probably heard that methane from cows, sheep, goats and buffalo (that is, ruminant farts) has been linked to global warming. There are 50 percent more cows and similar animals today than half a century ago (3.6 billion) and methane released from their digestive systems is the biggest human-related source of this greenhouse gas.

Influencing human behavior is one of the most challenging aspects of any large-scale policy, and it is unlikely that a large-scale dietary change will happen voluntarily without incentives. Implementing a tax or emission trading scheme on livestock’s greenhouse gas emissions could be an economically sound policy that would modify consumer prices and affect consumption patterns.

There you have it, one must be an idiot to be a Lib.

How many more humans today vs half a century ago?

They are working on it. Can't fix a fucking pothole but are now going to fix global weather.

What could possibly go wrong?

Oh it gets good here.

In France they took horse meat that had been subjected to a quizzlion tests and I don't even want to go thereon what they did to the horses

But then after they killed the horses they put them into the food chain.

Maybe we just need to ship a bunch of cattle to Antarctica, feed them beans and let them fart that ship free from the ice.

So, to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases cows and the like produce, we need to tax meat.
taxing meat? Good heavens, it's already quite expensive. For instance beef tenderloin, when on sale is still twelve bucks a pound:

Taxing meat will inconvenience many of us.

Libturds never met a tax they didn't like. They'd tax breathing if they thought they could get away with it.

Oh and how many carbon credits did it take to produce that hard core packaging around your mother earth
product?

:lmao:
